Alright gentlemen, this is the thread I am making to toss ideas in. All comments are either going to be suggestions, or comments on a suggestion. Current one is vital to the server, and that is the pay per minute, right now here is my current idea. Pay every 15 minutes. Lord-25 per 15, rounds up to a nice even 100 per hour Major Noble-20 per 15 Minor Noble-15 per 15 Druid/Priest-10 per 15 Warriors-9 per 15 Blacksmith/Doctor/other-rare-specialists-8 per 15Craftsmen-7 per 15 Otherstuff-6 per 15 Bards/Entertainers-5 per 15 Farmer-4 per 15 Hunter-3 per 15, Free men-2 per 15 Slave-1 per 15, obviously. This is super rough draft, this is just the general idea, if people could comment and make suggestions that would be AMAZING.

Why would Priests make more than warriors? Druids of the Celtic culture were extremely well educated individuals, it took about twenty years for them to attain the title of druid, and they did everything from astronomy to herbalism, on top of their religious duties. They are also in the same social class as full-time warriors. Since the youngest full trained druid would have to be at least 35 years old, and they do not go to battle often for loot or get paid by their Lord's, it makes sense that they should make a little more coin.

Suggestion: If you're going to be so picky and nitty about the names and backrounds people choose being realistic to the lore, then I don't think the Anglic house should be named after the Eorlingas of Lord of The Rings. Seems a bit offputtin, I'll probably never get over it.

I agree with the other fox. The name could use a change for safety.

Seems a bit offputtin, I'll probably never get over it. I never even thought about that, honestly. But for the record, the Eorlingas were named after Anglo-Saxons, so... I'll look into other names and yall can offer up some suggestions if you want. It's just that Eorlingas is so smexy... EDIT: Beorningas? Byrningas? Ceolingas? Cuddingas? Cyningas? Dunningas? Eodingas? Gadricingas? Grimingas? Heorulfingas? Horsingas? Huntingas? Leodingas? Moccingas? Ocgingas? Oddingas? Riddingas? Swiftingas? Wihtingas? Willingas? Just throwing some names out there (and also marking them down for me to remember later).

In response to the payments... I think that we ought to get rid of Minor Noble. This is a very low-level area, so you shouldn't get much of any nobility besides the lord and his family. However, we replace it with "Officer/Official" who I think would be below the priests in the social hierarchy. For the Angles, this would include the reeve and the captain of the guard. I think that Specialists and Craftsmen should be moved into the same category. I recognize that some specialists would earn more than others, but I think that this would show itself in-game. Does anyone have any idea how well-off bards, actors, and entertainers in general would be in this time period? Their appreciation would have been different in each culture, but they generally were not the ultra-famous artists of today, obviously. However, I'm not sure if they would have been better off than a farmer or hunter, so we'll have to figure that out. Those are my thoughts for now.

Bards were in the same social class as the druids and scholars, mostly because druids tended to do be bards in their free time. Granted they would not be paid like a druid or scholar, but they would be respected, as would warrior poets.
